Girl's Birthday
Party
Everyone wants their little girl to have the most fabulous
birthday party that they can possibly give them. Parents often
wonder how they can make things special.
For the younger girls you could use party supplies with
Barney, Dora, or Sponge Bob, Sleeping Beauty, and Little
Mermaid. Ask the party girl which she would like for it to be,
as she is the special person and it would also make her feel
good to be able to pick the theme of the party.
You can obtain the supplies for whichever theme you decide
to have. Plates, napkins, streamers and other birthday party
supplies can be purchased at a local store. White and pink
balloons are the color for girls, but it also depends on what
type of theme is decided.
If your daughter is a preteen (between the ages of 8- 12),
then you might want to base her party around Hanna Montana, or
The Cheetah Girls. Or you might want to base the party around
some other group or song that they like such as Brittany
Spears. There are literally hundreds of ideas that can be used
for preteens. Preteen girls are really into pajama parties or
sleepover parties after the birthday party. You could first
have the party and later call out for pizzas.
Teenage parties are very much different because teens do not
want to have a chaperon, even though they will have one anyway.
They want to feel grown up and are in the hormone changes, when
they tend to get really moody. Ask your teenager what they
would like the party to be like and you will tend to have much
better results than if you planned the party yourself. Teens
know what their friends will like and that will make your teen
happy. Let your teenager go with you to pick out the
decorations, cake, and other supplies that they would like to
have at the party. Usually most of the girls will stick
together and dance among themselves, so albums with their
favorite music is a must.
Young adult birthday girls want parties that will also
fascinate their friends but they are more into boys and
pleasing them. These are good years to plan birthday costume
parties. They are becoming more and more popular with young
adults. Base your party on any theme you like and tell all the
guests to dress according to the theme. Have all the presents
to suit the theme of the party. For instance, your teen would
like to have a costume party to fit famous people throughout
history. When the invitations are printed, state in it that
they should dress as a famous person from any time in history,
and that the presents should be from the era that they are
dressed as.
Middle aged girls are more into kids, families, and friends.
Cookouts are a normal setting for a birthday girl of her age.
You could talk to all the guests and have them bring a covered
dish, and you could even get the guest to bring a recipe to
exchange at the party. Or after before the party beguines have
a cookie contest.
Senior girls are more for having birthday parties at a
public restaurant of their chose. You should think of what type
of supplies you would need for their age and also include
dancing, photo sessions, and toasts.
Hopefully these girl birthday parties will give you some
kind of an idea as to what can be done and how to do things
depending on whatever age bracket the birthday party girl is
in.
