Birthday Party
Food
Wondering what kind of food you should have at the up-coming
birthday party? Birthday party food isn't that hard to figure
out, once you have figured out what sort of theme you want to
go along with the party.
Pizza's are an absolute favorite for any birthday party,
whether you are going to have them delivered or you are taking
the party to a pizzeria. Most pizzeria's have a special party
section at their establishment that can hold all of your
birthday party guests.
There are many different food establishments that are
willing to help with party sections. Of course if you are going
to have decorations you will need to go a few hours ahead of
time and put up your decorations.
If you are going to have a large party you might want to
rent a party hall somewhere in your community and have a
caterer bring in the type of food that will go along with your
theme.
If the party is going to be held at home in the back yard
and is to be more of a cookout, then you would want some of
this type of food; cake and ice cream, home made punch, and
finger sandwiches. You also might want a veggie tray or fruit
tray. Some birthday party foods include hot dogs, hamburgers,
chips, sodas, and coleslaw, potato salad, and chips.
If you want everyone to "WOW" at your party you can purchase
an inexpensive chocolate fountain from several places around
your city, the less expensive one's are on the average of
$30.00 and up. Or you might find one online. Just think of all
the chocolate dripping and moving throughout the fountain, and
your guests are laughing, and wowing as they dip fruits, nuts,
cookies, marshmallows, pretzels and any thing else editable in
it.
You could buy hot cans of soda and using sticker printer
paper you could create a label with the picture of the birthday
person and give it a name such as "Anna's Homemade Soda", print
several of the labels and stick them on the cans before cooling
them. The guests will get another "WOW" from your new birthday
party food idea. Soon friends, relatives and neighbors will be
coming to you for more fantastic ideas.
You could make a Ladybug looking birthday cake or an M&M
icing cake, or a caterpillar cake. Let your imagination be your
guide. Great food ideas have come from people's imagination.
Just think of all the food ideas you could come up with just by
using your mind. You could create birthday party foods such as
cookies shaped like small hearts; perhaps from an old cookie
cutter left from Valentines Day. Or you could make little
spider cakes just by using cupcake holders and craft wire or
pipe cleaners.
What about using your imagination to make a birthday cake
that looked like a dragon, using different colored icing to
color the dragon. You could even have the dragon breathing
fire.
Make a cake that looked like a castle, using a flat pan and
cupcakes for the towers, complete with a drawbridge, using your
imagination and use toy knights and animals for the castle
decorations.
These ideas for your birthday party food ideas are just to
get you started; remember let your imagination take over and
once a theme for the party has been made; the next thing is
impressing your guests with your ideas.
