Birthday Party
Decorations
Birthday Party Decorations are fun and fairly easy to
acquire. You can search the internet or go to your local
department store. Each place no matter which one you choose to
do will have some fantastic ideas. However, shopping online
sometimes will give you discounts and points for buying from
them.
You should come up with a theme for the birthday party, as
this will make the party more interesting and fun for all the
guests. No matter how old people are they always get a thrill
when invited to a costume party, so you would want the
decorations to go along with that theme.
For instance, the theme might be of pirates, and you could
get streamers and extra hats to match the theme, just in case
someone didn't bring their own hat. You could also have a few
extra toy swords, and other parts of the pirate costume for the
same reason.
You could but up banners and old world type maps hanging
from the ceiling. Have balloons hanging from the ceiling and in
each corner of the room where the party is going to be held,
each filled with helium.
On the birthday cake you could have three or four balloons
of different colors tied from the serving tray. Instead of
cutting the birthday cake with a regular knife use a sort sword
looking knife.
Costume parties are a very big hit with almost any age
group, from preschoolers to the senior adults. Everyone usually
enjoys themselves, especially if the guests are old enough to
dance. The guests will admire your fantastic birthday party
decoration ideas, and will usually want to have another one
when someone in their family has a birthday party.
Perhaps a costume party doesn't appeal to you; many don't
really want to go to that type of expense and would rather have
a nice quit party at home. You will still want to have a theme
for the party, even if it is just to have balloons and a cake.
You can still make it special by making your own birthday
decorations. Start by having each member of the family cut and
paste five or six streamers together then have them take
crayons or finger paints and decorate the streamers, you could
also do this with banners and posters. Have each family member
take turns blowing up balloons and placing them in certain
areas of the room.
Decide what games can be played during the party and
decorate the inside or the outside of the house to fit the
party theme. You would probably want to decorate for the games
a day ahead of time.
If it is to be a surprise party then you have to figure out
how to do the decorating while someone else has taken the
birthday person to the movies or bowling or some other
predesignated place. Once they are gone you will usually need
some other family members and friends to help set up all your
birthday party decoration ideas. Hopefully these suggestions
will help give you some very good ideas that will make everyone
happy and be enjoyable for all.
